The Superstition Area Land Trust (SALT) respects your right to privacy and understands that your online privacy is a priority.  This policy summarizes the type of personal information SALT collects and how SALT uses that information.  Other topics related to your privacy are also addressed in this policy.

Collection of Information
SALT will collect personal information, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit-card information when making a donation.  All credit-card information is posted on PayPal® which encrypts your data transmissions using the industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology - the same technology used by many banks to protect data transmitted over the Internet.

Use of Information
SALT will use the personal information you disclose to respond to your inquiries and to provide you with requested information, such as the monthly SALT newsletter.  Under no circumstances will your personal information be sold or otherwise distributed.  It may be necessary, if required by law or court order, to release your personal information.

We may occasionally contact you by US mail or e-mail with information about SALT volunteer opportunities, upcoming events or fundraising drives.
